AKC Registered Basset Hounds

Meet the Hounds

Lady Sage

Sage is the first female my mother acquired, and she surely acts like the matriarch of the bassets. She’s the definition of a lady, preferring to watch the action from mom’s side. When people see her, the first word that often comes to mind is “regal.” She keeps her chin high like a proud queen - as she should!

Sage is 38% European and mahogany and white with a lot of ticking (freckles). To date, all of her puppies have her cute nose freckles!

Lady Maybe

Maybe is around Lady Sage’s age, sure, but she’s a puppy at heart. She gets along much better with the puppies than anyone else! She loves taking care of them, cleaning them, and playing with them! If there’s anything people notice about Maybe it’s always her deep, soulful stare. Curious about her name? Well, originally, Maybe was Mabel - we changed the name when we realized no one actually called her by her real name!

Maybe is 90% European, tri-colored and just covered in the ticking that we adore.

Lil Miss Rizzo

Rizzo was born here on the farm. Her mother is Lady Sage, and her father is Sir Blu (who has now gone on to a home that suits him better). Rizzo is the first basset that doesn’t belong to my mother! She’s still only a puppy, but her personality is fierce. I can’t wait to watch her grow!

Rizzo is 19% European, 81% American, tri-colored female that inherited her mother’s slim nose and “regal” ears.

Oliver

Oliver (lovingly nicknamed Odie) is just a little guy right now, but he’s going to grow into a true stud! Oliver is a major foodie - be it dog food or people food, he wants the first bite! He’s also a major mama’s boy, and can’t stand being apart from mom even for a minute! He’s just a week younger than Rizzo, but they’re already best buds!

Oliver is a 94% European male! He’s tri-colored with a lot of ticking!
