Our 40 acre farm was acquired and built from an empty pasture in 1999. Located in Kosse, TX our pens have seen horses, cows, pigs, goats and now sheep. We’ve had several dogs throughout the years too, but we always come back to basset hounds for their gentle nature.
Getting pigs was our first step on a journey to becoming more self-sustainable. Daisy Mae & Dijon aren’t for eating, though - they’re for breeding! We’ll be selling meat pigs (and keeping one for our own freezer). We’ve had pigs before, and we’re just so excited to welcome these little guys to the team!

We’ve had Jacob sheep since 2020. We work carefully to rotate our fields to ensure the sheep are healthy, and to offer our assistance only when the sheep need it! Luckily, sheep are pretty easy to care for. They make excellent mothers, and have the cutest little babies!
